Fluent French or Dutch speaking Senior Operational WebSphere Application Server System Engineer.
The candidate will contribute to availability, the maintenance, the support of a large Java EE application hosting service infrastructure. Support of this infrastructure covers different aspects, going from the WebSphere application installation/support in the context to the usage of load-balancers, reverse-proxies, authentication proxies.

The Senior Operational System Engineer will report to a technical coordinator and the Team leader.
Job description
As Senior Operational WebSphere Application System Engineer, you carry out the following tasks:
- Support of the complete "Operational/Run" WebSphere environment
- Deploy and install WebSphere Applications
- Perform pre-defined tasks for the applications (Stop/Start, Packages installation)
- Handle Service Requests, Incidents, Problems, Changes and Configuration Management at operation level
- Support tasks associated with running the operation and maintenance of the information systems
Your profile
Knowledge and experience
- Owner of a Master or Bachelor degree, 5 years of IT experience with at least 3 years as WebSphere System Engineer.
- Advanced knowledge of WebSphere Application Server, including clustering for high-availability and performance, administrative Scripting, troubleshooting, as well as Java EE development best practices.
- Familiar with web infrastructure devices, like load-balancers, reverse proxies, authentication proxies.
- French or Dutch with fluent knowledge of English.
