Infastructure & Systems Integration Project Management -Dublin £350-£380 per day
My client is looking for an Infastructure & Systems Integration Project Management to deliver a business change, which is supported by an IT work-stream, with several elements to it. This role will be based in Dublin, especially within the first few months, with the occasional trips to the UK which will be expensed.
This Infastructure & Systems Integration Project Manager will be managing the project to implement the UCP (Unified Computer Platform) for databases - a mixture of a highly speccd piece of hardware that has pre-tuned software and databases already built in. The Project Manager will be dealing with Software and Hardware implementation challenges.
The client has a strong relationship with the bank, and have historically worked directly for them.The client is being instructed in this phase to work with a major India off-shore systems integration company. The PM involved needs to be sensitive to the fact that its first customer is the client its second customer is the bank but he also has to work 'with' the supplier. There will be tension around working with the supplier for critical tasks for the work-stream being delivered in a timely way. There will be an expectation from the supplier to do things immediately even when information is provided at the last minute.
Expected Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience as a PM ideally Infrastructure and systems integration project management;
- Client facing roles
- Multiple stakeholder management
- Ideally banking experience
- Ideally experience of engineered systems
