FPGA/VHDL Hardware Design Engineer
My clients hardware team design bespoke hardware platforms for various industries. These include Scientific Computing, Oil & Gas and Financial analytics. They are looking for experienced FPGA designers for an initial 6 month assignment.
Candidates must have experience in digital circuit design, preferably using VHDL for FPGAs. Experience in high performance computing with FPGAs would be highly beneficial.
Key competences:
Multi-layer PCB design and debug with FPGAs.
Product design and test experience (eg. EMC Compliance)
High-speed digital design (eg. QDR/DDR memory interfaces, PCI-Express, 10G Ethernet, Infiniband)
Systems/device driver programming for Linux in C.
Knowledge of object-oriented software techniques in Java or C++.
