Job Overview

An experienced Integration Requirements Manager is required to work on a high profile IT transformation project within a central government organisation. The Integration Requirements Manager will be responsible for gathering and managing the implementation of integration requirements for the new Infrastructure Management Solution (IMS).

 Scope of Activities:

The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of each of the integration requirements.  Key activities will include:

  •  Exploring the business requirements in the design workshops and using this to help define the subsequent integration requirements
  • Documenting and maintaining the identified integration requirements
  • Working with key business stakeholders to gather the technical requirements of each integration
  • Working with the IMS delivery team to agree a suitable design to meet each integration requirement
  • Overseeing the build of each integration and reporting on progress to management
  • Supporting the business in conducting UAT testing of the integration elements of the Infrastructure Management Solution (IMS)
  • Producing visual integration architectures that can be used to communicate the integration requirements
  • Maintaining the contents of the Integration Register based on the integration requirements
  • Helping to define the strategic approach to integration for the IMS

Skills and Credentials:

  • 3rd level qualification in an IT-related discipline (desirable)
  • Prior knowledge and experience of capturing integration requirements (Desirable)
  • Prior knowledge and experience of designing integration architectures (Desirable)
  • Prior knowledge and experience of tracking and reporting on the progress with development and testing (Desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management and work prioritising skills
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies, specifically enterprise-scale applications
  • Ability to learn functionality and processes
  • Ability to analyse situations and options effectively
  • Must have SC Security Clearance.
