The IdeaLists is busy building the preeminent professional marketplace for creative talent in advertising and media. In business since 2010, our invite-only community consists of over 5,500 members and grows daily.
We are are planning some major upgrades to our product and seeking a very smart, insightful freelance/contract UX Strategist/Designer to work with us from our LA office for approximately 3-4 months.
We need someone with the ability to apply elegant design solutions to some very interesting and challenging business problems. For the right candidate, it promises to be a rewarding project.
This person will be involved in the design process, from concepts to wireframes, and should be an expert in UX design principles and practices
Necessary requirments include:
- 5+ years’ experience in web user experience design
- Experience in developing effective and impactful wireframes, use cases, site maps, flow diagrams and taxonomy
- Knowledge of business, technology and design strategies, tools, techniques and trends
- The flexibility to adjust to occasional changes in project priorities
- The ability to help define success metrics
Ideally, you also posses:
- Experience in designing online marketplaces
- Ability to conduct quantitive and qualitative usability testing
- Visual design skills
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Agile experience
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Visio/OmniGraffle and usability testing tools
