Description
My client, a top operator here in Houston is looking for 2 Subsea Well Intervention Engineers. These candidates need to have 10+ years of experience with downhole equipment as well as Subsea Equipment. Candidates should be very familiar with Coil Tubing Equipment, P&A, Subsea Completions, Live well interventions, Subsea Horizontal and Vertical Trees, UTA's & Riserless Intervention systems. This position will be Rig & non Rig based.Please read the following description and apply directly with a CV.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Supporting both the floating rig fleet and vessel HSE plans when those work platforms are in the intervention mode
- Championing the Well Delivery process including regulatory requirements, cost, risk management, contingencies, and after-action reviews
- Efficiently planning procedures in advance
- Optimizing use of existing technology while utilizing new technology when applicable
- Continually reviewing and assessing intervention readiness gaps
- Delivering the well on time, on budget, and with the functionality and reliability specified in the design basis
Requirements:
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
- Must have the flexibility and availability to work or travel up to 20%
- Must be willing to work a 14/14 schedule
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or technical college
- Demonstrated rig operations experience; with floater experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in workload intervention
- Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex well operations in demanding environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multi-discipline groups
- Prior subsea completion experience is preferred
