Description
A market leading medical device company in Minnesota has an opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to take part in the design work for a new medical device product soon being brought to the market and design the functionality of this new product. This 6 month contract that is paying $50.00-$60.00 per hour and has the potential to turn into a full time position.Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and evaluate mechanical systems and components
- Create detailed solid models and drawings
- Communicate progress towards targeted milestones efficiently
- Propose design ideas for the introduction of new device and process technologies.
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
- 4 + years of experience in Engineering or related field
- 2 + years experience in the Medical Device industry
- 2 + years CAD experience in either Solidworks or Pro/E
