As a highly experienced Java developer you will be working within a friendly team and be given immediate opportunity to impress by contributing to building a high transactional/ high frequency sports book trading system. You will be working alongside traders and quantitative researchers so your communication skills should be as good as your technical skill stack in Java.
Essential Skills and experience
- Strong Java J2EE background
- All round understanding of eCommerce website architecture
- Several years of Spring, Tomcat (or similar), MySQL and Oracle
- Good knowledge of Front End Open Source technologies: HTML5/XHTML, CSS3, JQuery and JavaScript
- Low latency messaging pub sub technologies
- Server side Java to support Comet & Websocket clients
- Multi-threaded programming
- Experience in a 24x7 high volume eCommerce environment
- Experience Integrating and designing APIs
