Description
*Top Tier Investment Bank looking for Senior (VP) Product Controllers to join their equities business on a temporary to permanent basis. The group is undergoing rapid development and expansion in Hong Kong and need experienced members to drive the strategy of the group. Initially contract the roles could become permanent depending on market and business conditions.*

The team supports and controls a leading franchise in the region which continues to win in well-established business lines and seeks to expand in areas that will augment shareholder value
The candidates would be expected to hit the ground running in an initial managerial role and then rotate to experience other roles through time
Control of daily pnl, attribution, risk based sensitivity pnl, balance sheet and commentaries
Support New Business initiatives and review new business pnl and day1 pnl
Deliver and discuss pnl with traders and senior management
Liaise with FTB functions to resolve ad hoc issues including surrounding trade booking and valuation
Perform analytical review of financial disclosure items
Analyse daily funding, cash capital positions and own credit pnl
Develop specialist technical knowledge (accounting/valuation/systems) across a variety of Equities products in the portfolio
Participate in process change relating to the FTB process for Equities Business, and internally within Finance.
Develop a robust control framework for expanding product streams to ensure that projected growth is managed in a controlled fashion.
Experiences:
8+ years experience in accounting and product control (ideally Equities Derivatives)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
