My Brussels based client, within the financial sector, has an urgent requirement for a WebSphere Application Server specialist for an initial 6 month contract but with the possibility of further extensions.
The role will encompass the management and configuration of WebSphere Application Server in order to deploy Java applications hosted within the organisation's Web infrastructure and to prepare the infrastructure for application deployments.
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years' experience within a similar structure which will include proven WAS knowledge. The ability to diagnose issues during deployment of application and after deployment for integration purposes is required.
In addition, sufficient knowledge to deploy new applications and accompany developers to tune their package when needed is necessary. Any experience of FireWalls, RAF, TFIM and TAMeb would also be advantageous.
Applicants should be fluent in English and knowledge of both French and Dutch would be beneficial, though not a necessity.
