Support Engineer (2nd Line)
IDPP is currently recruiting for a contract Support Engineer to be based in Antwerp (Belgium) for one year contract. Provide a full range of Desktop Support for all Software and Hardware queries. This also involves additional network and server administration).
This is a client facing role working for a high profile customer providing a fully outsourced Managed Service. Based in Antwerp travelling to Cologne, Luxembourg and London as required.
Delivering first class, best of breed 1st/2nd line support and contributing to 3rd line and project work as and when required.
Technical requirements:
Windows XP/7 and Office 2007
VMware vSphere/vCenter 4.1 (ESX & ESXi)
Windows Server R2 - Active Directory
Exchange 2007
Good storage fundamentals (Dell Equallogic)
Good networking fundamentals - Cisco, Juniper, HP
Blackberry Enterprise Server (5.0)
Enterprise Vault (8.0)
Server hardware - Dell
Symantec Backup Exec 2010
Citrix XenApp - Basic Administration
Candidates will be expected to be able to demonstrate: -
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English);
Their core technical background and expertise across a range of server-based technologies, including the quality of their report writing and documentation;Their approach to fault diagnosis, problem solving, customer service and relationship management;The personal attributes that they believe would make them successful in this role;
A full driving licence.
