Infrastructure/EMC/SAN/NAS/UNIX - Senior/Subject Matter Expert

Position Description:

We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Hosting Services. The SME will assist the Service Owner for Cloud/Open Systems/Storage with technical expertise in the area of Windows, Linux, UNIX Servers and related EMC Storage. The day-to-day work include governance of the services, planning changes to the environment, technical discussions with Outsourcing partner and related HW and SW vendors.

Management and operations of the Hosting services are performed by our Outsourcing partners.

Primary Skills Required:

Excellent technical knowledge within:

- Server OS: Windows Server, SUSE Linux, AIX

Good technical knowledge within:

- Hypervisor: VMware ESXi and vSphere

- EMC storage solutions: VMAX, VPLEX, Data Domain, VNX and VNXe, SAN

Additional Skills Preferred:

Technical knowledge within

- Server OS: Solaris

- Hypervisor: MS Hyper-V

- Desktop virtualization: Citrix

- Veeam and Tivoli TSM backup solutions

- Tivoli Monitoring and MS SCOM

- Cloud (Azure) experience

Grade: Practitioner - senior

Experience Required: IT Operations and Hosting experience within Windows/Linux/Unix server and storage services.

Additional Experience Preferred: Experience of working with deliveries in an outsourced delivery.
