Location: ManchesterJob Role: Senior Electronics Engineer
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 dependent upon experience
Senior Electronics Engineer needed to join a market leading global supplier in scientific instruments. You will report to the Electronics Team Leader within the R&D department. You will also be involved in the full product life cycle from system design specification through to manufacture. The role will involve working with high voltage pulsing and control systems.
Ideally you will have the following experience:-
- Degree in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science (or similar) with a good understanding of
embedded software systems including both analogue and digital or relevant experience.
- Highly proficient in Analogue electronic design
- Analogue circuit simulation/ Component level Analogue Design
- Schematic Capture and PCB layout (Cadstar)
- Switch mode power supplies
- High speed high voltage switching circuits
- Design verification and design for manufacture
- Experience in designing EMC, RoHS and UL approved products
- PCB Design
