Description
A CAD Technician is required on a contract basis, by an industry leading infrastructure business. The role offers a great daily rate and the opportunity to work within a dynamic business environment. The purpose of the role is to support the delivery of core Highway Engineering outputs, which will involve the production of engineering drawings using AutoCAD, production of drainage and highway alignment designs and traffic signs and road marking layouts.
Essential skills include:
- BTEC Certificate (Higher National Certificate preferred) in Civil Engineering with extensive experience in this area.
- A general understanding of highway and traffic engineering.
- Knowledge of current CAD software.
- Up-to-date experience in a range of highway projects including highway drainage and traffic engineering
