For our client in Bruxelles we are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer/Architect:
Duration: 9 months and then perm contract
Location: Bruxelles
Languages: French (fluent), Dutch (fluent), English (good)
Availability: ASAP
Our client is the leading European system integrator and provider of innovative supply chain, identification and mobility solutions and services. You will work in the IT department as a Technical Team Leader amongst other Team Leaders and Software Engineers.
Functions:
- With your team of software engineers you will do the technical design & implementation in midsized to large projects
- You participate in the functional analysis, conceptual design and you make the foundations of solutions (standard & custom implementations)
Design & Development:
- Strong focus on Server Side Business Intelligence development
- Using best practices and right implementations for mobile devices communicating with the Server Side Back End
- The right choices for interfaces & data protocol implementations with 3rd party applications and peripherals
- Able to find the right balance in designing the right abstraction layers and maximum re-usability at lowest cost & resource consumption
- You're able to concentrate on the (business) solution to implement by using the right technical tools & concepts
Profile:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software design and developement
- Web Technology knowledge: ASP, ASP.NET, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML
- A big plus knowing JAVA, Spring Framework, Hibernate, C and C++
- Good experience in databases: Oracle, MS SQL
- Very good communication skills & motivator
- Punctually and highly demanding on yourself
- Decision maker
- Fluent Bi-lingual (Dutch/French) with very good knowledge of English
