Chief Marketing Officer/Marketing Director - London

We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Marketing Officer/Marketing Director based in our London office to play a key role to be the marketing lead for all the related activities with an acquisition and coordinate these into the marketing team for execution. We are a venture capitalist backed financial software business that specialise in creating Management information systems for private equity businesses and for the portfolio businesses of those private equity firms.
Task & Focus:
Agree the short term and midterm positioning and branding of products immediately on closing of these transactions
Precisely communicate strategy and placement of the solutions and what's next to staff, customers, prospects, press and the market at large
Support the global PR campaign around the acquisitions and the placement of the client in a default leadership place
Create Q&A's and other tactical tools to support the externalisation of the acquisitions and ensure consistent messaging
Review and consider consolidation and streamline of brand and product naming concepts of our own existing products ahead of the acquisitions
Must have experience in International Marketing and mergers and acquisitions within SME's
