Due to an ongoing requirement, our customer is looking for a Sales Director with expertise in the Energy Sector (particularly oil, gas, water and electricity market). It is imperative that the Sales Director has market contacts and connections within these markets.

The Sales Director will be developing propositions focussed at the Middle East North Africa market. Therefore the Sales Director must be able to travel to these areas

The Sales Director will have experience of selling software within these markets.

Sales Director duties:

  • Expert knowledge of the oil/gas/water/electric markets and extensive contacts within these domains
  • Developing propositions focussed at the Middle East North Africa market. Therefore the Sales Director will be able to travel to these areas
  • Assessing market demand based on previous experience and current relationships in the energy sector and Middle East North Africa markets
  • Develop a detailed set of value propositions and required capabilities to enable discussions with local partners on scope of partner activity
  • Develop an investment case and business plan that brings a return on the investment
  • Develop a programme plan that turns the propositions into tangible business and locally based capabilities
  • Structured and objective approach to developing ideas into propositions
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders at CEO level and make an impact
  • Ability to formulate and develop business models and investment cases
  • Experience of developing business propositions from infancy through to business case and set-up
  • Any knowledge within the security/cyber market in addition as a nice to have skill
