Our client is a Midlands based local authority, who is seeking a Senior School Improvement Officer with primary experience to manage and lead the primary team.
In summary the post holder will be required;
To co-ordinate the support and monitoring of primary schools in the region. To quality assure the work of the primary team to ensure the quality of work is excellent. This includes:
Statutory Assessment
NQTs
Head teacher Induction
Head teacher Recruitment
To commission school to school support for schools judged by Ofsted to be 'requiring improvement' or 'inadequate' and to work closely with schools to implement the new model for school improvement.
