Description
Vantage Resources have a requirement for an Oracle DBA with strong/expert technical experience to work with one of our large financial services clients based in Dublin.
You will have previous experience project installing, upgrading, configuring, tuning and managing Oracle database products and Oracle Application Server products.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of the existing Database Services team who provide production support for all Oracle, MsSQl and Sybase database. The candidate will also be required to provide support to the different change teams to enable our current change program.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the following:
Oracle 11g
Oracle RAC
Oracle ASM
Oracle DG
Unix platform (Sun SPARC Solaris an advantage)
Additional Requirements:
Proven Experience in a production Support Role
Proven ability to work within a Team environment
Oracle Migrations/Upgrade experience essential
MS SQL Server experience would be advantageous
Previous experience in delivering Enterprise class business projects would be advantageous.
