Key Accountabilities:

In conjunction with the Head of Financial Services and other key stakeholders, the successful candidate will:

Develop and maintain, through identifying and exploiting business opportunities, the new business and fraud credit strategies, MI and KPI's with a clear emphasis on profitability and business priority.
Monitor, evaluate and assess all aspects of the new business and fraud credit strategies from a credit risk perspective; communicate results, conclusions and recommendations to senior management.
Ensure that the relevant operational areas understand their role within the new business and fraud credit strategies, with monitoring of their ongoing compliance of the credit policy.
Ensure that policy, strategy and process combine to optimise profitability from a credit perspective.
Liaise with other functional areas (as appropriate) to ensure the communication, understanding and satisfactory application of changes to the credit strategy and policy.
Ensure that projects are carried out effectively, efficiently and within timescales.
provide robust analysis of business and market trends and provide insite on future trends and opportunities for the business through risk analysis

The role really does represent a fantastic opportunity for an immediately available graduate with a strong degree in an analytic, statistical or maths degree with theoretical or practical experience of SAS, scorecard or SQL development, keen to prove themselves, and take ownership for credit risk initiatives within a progressive and forward thinking company.
