Description
Our client is a large transport operator currently involved in the UK rail franchise bidding process. They require additional resource in order to define an attractive, compliant & deliverable Environment & Sustainability vision for inclusion in their bid documents.
The position will involve working as part of a diverse team on multiple bids, ensuring that the sustainability agenda is consistently represented throughout the bid. This position will involve acting as both advisor and author, working with each workstream and Bid Directors.
The position will involve working in London on a regular basis, although there is some scope for working remotely.
The client is looking for an experienced Environment & Sustainability consultant, with very strong knowledge of both current legislation/best practice and future direction. Strong communication skills are required, including the ability to write.
Rail and/or bidding experience is advantageous but not essential. Experience of working in commercial & highly regulated environments is advantageous.
