Description
Contract Digital Design and Verification, SystemC, RTL - South UKA Digital Design and Verification Engineer is urgently needed for a contract based in the South of the UK requiring the following skill set:
- Experience in designing and verifying SoC using (System)Verilog and software languages like: C/C++ or SystemC
- Any experience with developing Video Codec Function would be highly beneficial
- Experience with OVM or UVM and either SystemVerilog or Specman would be desirable but not essential.
An important client of IC Resources is urgently needed for a Digital Design and Verification Contract based in the South of the UK. It requires a start as soon as possible for on site work. The responsibilities include: Experience in designing and verifying System-on-Chip using (System)Verilog and software programming languages like C/C++ or SystemC; Applying software and hardware design skills to develop video codec functions on FPGA; Developing innovative video processing solutions to enable rapid development of complex FPGA based System-On-Chip video designs. This includes software/hardware partitioning, design and development of modular video processing functions, hardware and software verification.
The desirable skill set is as follows but is not essential: Familiarity with ESL tool flows and methodologies, particularly of their use in system on chip design; Familiarity with Verification Methodologies (VMM, OVM or UVM).
