Senior Technical Architect - Bank - London - Competitive salaryOur client is a leading bank seeking an experienced java developer to join their financial regulatory team. The role would be based out of theLondonoffice and involve leading a team of developers involved in major markets.
This is by no means a hands off role though and you will still be involved directly in developing projects. As such you should be highly skilled in use of java as well as a good team leader and communicator. Database skills preferably Sybase or UDB are also essential.
Being a senior role you will be in charge of multiple projects so the ability to multi task multiple developments is must. However alongside this increased responsibility comes the opportunity to work inside one of the largest global banks with all the associated benefits.
Ideal Candidate;
- 10-15 years experience
- Strong technical background in development
- Ability to effectively manage a team of around 20 people
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Experience with distributed systems and test driven development beneficial
- Financial knowledge specifically of risk management products would be of benefit
