Large Bank seeks to attract an accomplished Compliance Monitoring Officer to join an expanding London based team.
Role profile
*Assist the compliance monitoring manager to develop a risk based compliance monitoring programme
*Produce compliance risk assessments
*Prepare compliance risk monitoring work programmes and in accordance with the Banks methodologies
*Carry out monitoring reviews as directed by the compliance monitoring manager
*Produce monitoring reports in the required format and to the required standard
*Assist the compliance monitoring manager in the production of monthly MI for the Head of Banking Compliance
*Ensure that appropriate regulatory training is provided across all businesses in the Banking Division
*Work in a timely manner to ensure that the annual monitoring plan is achieved
*Liaise with Risk and Internal Audit, as directed, to ensure information is shared as appropriate and to ensure there is no significant overlap of work
*Create and maintain good working relationships with the other control functions
*Form good working relationships with the Compliance Advisors across the Banking Division
*Develop a good understanding of all businesses across the Banking Division
Requirements
Strong experience of compliance monitoring.
Good attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communicator.
Commercial approach to compliance activities.
High levels of drive and self motivation.
High proficiency with Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge and experience of Consumer Credit regulation.
