SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
Capital Adequacy - Financial Analyst - Basel III - CRD IV- ICAAP- Project Co-ordination
Our client is a leading financial services organisation who is seeking to appoint a Senior Financial Analyst within their Capital Adequacy team which is responsible for the evaluation and management of the capital adequacy of their regulated businesses across EMEA. The team is looking for a hard-working, highly organised business analyst to support a number of important initiatives, including the implementation of Basel III and delivery of ICAAP documentation in the UK and Guernsey.
- Act as project coordinator for the implementation of CRD IV/Basel III across various group businesses. This will involve tracking key project milestones, coordinating internal working group meetings, compiling supporting analysis and documentation and preparing briefing materials for key internal stakeholders, including senior management and boards.
- Assist with the preparation of ICAAP documentation for regulated subsidiaries in the UK and Guernsey, with a focus on ensuring Basel III implications are fully considered.
- Prepare regular capital adequacy reporting for senior management and boards.
Candidates MUST demonstrate a good knowledge of capital adequacy rules and principles gained through a treasury, regulatory policy or regulatory reporting background.
Other skills will include:
- Familiarity with Basel II/III highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Well organised, with an ability to effectively prioritise work and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Strong IT skills, notably Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Investigative and questioning nature.
This is a 9 month contract position paying a highly competitive day rate.
