Global Investment Bank in London seeks a Senior Java Developer (Java 1.6, Server Side) with some Front End experience using C# and Winforms. As a Java Developer you will work in a team of 5 Developers (Java and C#) using Oracle Coherence caching and a Linux platform.
This is a great opportunity for a Technically Strong Senior Java Developer to work with a number of new technologies including HTML5 on their next large project.
You need to have the following Skills:
Proven Senior Java Developer (or Java tech lead) in a Large Investment Bank
Java (Java 1.6 or better)
Oracle
Oracle Coherence
C#
Winforms
Datasynapse Grid

Agile Experience
TDD
Business Skills:
Strong Investment Banking Background, preferably with experience of Credit Derivatives but not essential.
The focus of the Senior Java Developer will be 80% Java and 20% C# for the first few months with a large 2 year project initializing after this focusing on Java, Coherence, Oracle and DataSynapse Grids as well as a variety of interesting and new technologies to get involved in.
Develop your C# Skills on the Front End as well as continuous and in depth use of Java.
As a Senior Java Developer you will be in the Credit IT team in a business facing Front to Back Office Finance Team. You need Business Analysis and Front Office and will engage with many stakeholders across the business in a Global Development Team.
As a Senior Java Developer for this role you MUST have a strong Investment Banking background and strong Business Knowledge around Asset Classes (preference to Credit Derivatives) as well as Regulatory requirements associated with working in Banking.
