For our customer, an international retail company, we are looking for a
Pricing Analysis manager (m/f)

Ihre Aufgaben:
  • In country project to support them in transferring general strategy into pricing instruments
  • In particular focus of implementation of quick wins (oultlier elimination, fixing basic mistakes, price comparison basket optimization)
  • Liaison with multiple functions within the organisation
  • Implementation of price instruments (price comparison, promotions, loyalty programs, CLCM alignment) in cooperation with the countries
  • Training and consultancy on Pricing analysis and tactics
  • Implementation of corporate recommended Pricing Software
  • Monitoring of benefits of pricing within a country
  • Optimization of the Price invest in the countries
  • Improvement of price perception in the countries
  • Sales uplift related to implementation of price invests
  • Validation of maximum margin returns on current price invests
  • Support and training of the country Pricing specialist
  • Analytic guidance and monitoring of implemented instruments
  • Pricing consultancy on challenging issues
  • Translation of strategic targets into price tactics and instruments with best investment in (a) targeted customers and (b) targeted categories
  • Support in Implementation of pricing related processes and software solutions
  • Reporting transparency and communication to the management
  • Sales / Investment responsibility
  • Rapid achievement of potential "quick wins"
  • Supporting achievement of pricing related sales targets
  • Monitoring of maximum return on current price investments
  • Support the Country teams on price strategy
  • Identification of price importance to customer groups
  • Investment allocation of sales growth targets to correct sales instruments (STP / pricing)
  • Investment allocation on right categories (CLCM) and articles (through shelf price and price comparison)
  • Tools application optimization
  • Concept / implementation / monitoring
  • Support of implementation of price instruments with the countries
  • Monitoring of success of price instruments in all relevant dimensions
  • Implementation of IT support for regular price monitoring and analysis
  • Personnel training / guidance for pricings specialists / business analysts
  • Facilitate environment where pricing tasks can be undertaken by the country one "project" ends

  • Strong analytic skills
  • Strong software skills
  • Good communication skills/ Training or consultancy experience
  • Project management skills/ result orientation
  • Ability to think strategically and structured
  • Managerial / leadership experience in the management of small teams
  • Profound knowledge / experience in the difference of pricing strategies and the use of price instruments
  • Profound marketing skills / understanding of customer communication tactics
  • Excellent ability to work in teams
  • Culture sensitivity
  • High education (university or college degree)
  • Corresponding experience in pricing management or pricing software
  • Retail or leisure sector experience (in industry or consulting role)
  • International experience
  • Fluent English
  • Fluent other language (French, German, Spanish, Russian, etc)
