Our client is seeking a Senior BDM, to join their rapidly growing organization. Designing, building and integrating cutting edge solutions in order to transform businesses. Offering a host of solutions across the mobile, cloud and integrated systems space, our client is looking to add a senior member to the team to expand across the Victorian, Southern Australian & Tasmanian markets.

Role

The primary focus of the role is to generate new business/revenue with prospective clients, successfully selling solutions aligned with our client's value proposition. Building long term relationships, you will leverage your strong market knowledge along with previous experience in senior sales roles within IT.

Skills

  • Demonstrated background in IT solutions sales (minimum 5years +)
  • Strong understanding in Mobile, Cloud & Systems Integration solutions
  • Strong background in business development from scratch and growing client bases
  • Background in building expertise within industry/market sector, the overall business objectives, budgets, procurement processes, time scales and the impact of changes.
  • Proven track record in exceeding sales target (must be able to provide previous evidence of billings)
  • Strong track record of solutions selling including; pipeline management, qualifying opportunities, managing resources, negotiating and closing deals.
  • Relevant business management experience, which embraces financial, marketing and business planning processes.
  • Management experience in leading sales/services resources highly desirable.
  • Understands business drivers within the industry and emerging trends in the marketplace.
  • Existing network of senior industry contacts
  • A proven track record, amassed over several years, of selling and winning new business and creating high value, complex, deals with their assigned clients.

  • Membership of relevant industry bodies (desirable)
