Our client is urgently seeking a qualified desktop support professional with TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE (NV2). Based on the fringes of Melbourne CBD, you will be involved in supporting a complex, multi-site corporate environment -ITIL Level 1&2. Criteria;
- Experience providing level 1 & 2 support
- Minimum of 3 years supporting IT users, in a large environment; desktop computer hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
- Experience in installing new systems (OS)
- Experience with OS configuration & maintenance
- Experience with Network patching, application configuration and maintenance
- Previous experience in deployment or improvement of IT services
- Previous experience in the maintenance and support of desktop user application
Skill Set;
Successful applicants will be skilled in one or more of the following;
- Windows XP/7
- Linux or Unix OS
- Microsoft office
- Network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Ethernet)
