Sales representative/asset servicing/asset management/investment management/IMC or CFA/Common Contractual Funds (CCF)/Equity/Fixed Income

Grow new business and generate revenue in the UK/Ireland market through direct prospecting, collaboration within the asset servicing group and interaction with investment consultants. Acts as the technical expert regarding investment products and vehicles consisting of:

1.Cash and Short Duration Fixed Income
2.Index Equity and Fixed Income
3.Active Management - Equity and Fixed Income
4.Common Contractual Funds (CCF)

DUTIES

1.Implement the UK/Ireland sales strategy which entails conveying asset management thought leadership, investment capabilities and comprehensive solutions. This is best accomplished by fully understanding/evaluating the investors overall goals, objectives and risk tolerance.

2.Identifies new prospects by researching potential needs and prioritizing opportunities. Works effectively with UK/Ireland Relationship Manager during sales process and during on-going client servicing.

3.Makes customized sales presentations to large and complex clients utilizing knowledge of institutional investment products and services

4.Demonstrated collaboration with regional sales teams through joint calling, client reviews and new business generation.

5.Track progress in the Enterprise Relationship Management (ERM) system, communicate activity reports and provide necessary management metrics.

6.Provide perspective to the broader group (eg, sales, product development, portfolio management, senior management) as to the trends and developments of the UK/Ireland investor.

7.Oversees the request for proposal responses and fee proposals for prospective clients

8.Maintains on-going relationships with consultants, making them aware of the bank's products and services

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQD.

1.The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to independently analyze client situations; formulate effective strategic and tactical actions; and resolve issues. Conversant and comfortable at all stages of the business process. In order to be effective, there must be a demonstrated ability to evaluate prospect needs and formulate a responsive solution.

2.Experience of working with institutional investors in an investment management capacity is essential.

3.Possess the ability to provide problem resolution, but more importantly to act as a strategic partner with clients in analysing changes in the market and the client investment profile with the goal to develop strategic and tactical solutions.

4.Comprehensive knowledge of a wide variety of investment products is essential. Ability to develop a working knowledge of capabilities and skills to effectively position those capabilities. Exhibit the ability to effectively utilize product experts and portfolio managers as needed.

5.Demonstrate the ability to synthesize market demands and effectively communicate these needs to product management, portfolio management, marketing, risk and compliance teams allowing for the development of market responsive solutions.

6.Able to work within the environment of a global institution. Capable of working effectively in a large, growing and constantly changing organization.

7.Good profile within the consultant community and institutional investor community.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

1.The role requires broad experience in the investment management industry. Direct relationship management/business development experience in asset management working with sophisticated institutional investors is also essential.

2.Investment Management Certificate

3.University Degree in business or investments preferred.

4.CFA or other relevant experience preferred
