Mechanical Design Engineer
Based near Middlesbrough
Duration: 6-8 Months
Rate: £28 - £32p/h (Negotiable DOE)

An expanding multinational is looking to recruit 2 additional Design Engineers for 6-8month contracts based out of their R+D facility near Middlesbrough. This organisation is currently going through substantial expansion with realistic long term prospects either in a permanent or contract capacity.
Within this role you'll be on developing bespoke systems for subsea equipment. You'll be working within an existing multi-disciplinary team but will be responsible for certain aspects of key projects. Previous experience with Subsea or ROV design is advantageous but not essential. The role will be varied with work including design and prototyping responsibilities.
Essential Skills:
3D Solidworks
Previous Electro-Mechanical exposure
Subsea or ROV understanding
Desirable Skills:
Stress/deformation analysis
3D animation of parts
Hydraulics knowledge
