Description
Communications Officers with a mix of skills required for 6 month contract with public sector organisation in Edinburgh.
Duties will include:
- Delivering communications support for key events
- Composing news releases
- Using digital and social media
- Supporting media bids
- Organising communications events
- Initiate and manage effective communications plans and campaigns and measure their success
Experience required:
- Excellent communications skills including drafting clear and persuasive copy, expressing ideas concisely and presenting views effectively to clients
- Experience using a variety of channels to communicate with target audiences and specialist knowledge of the different media routes needed
- Specialist knowledge of current affairs and the broader political context
- Experience delivering marketing/PR campaigns
