The core of our business is Peto Marketplace - a website that enables Buyers in the public sector to find Suppliers and easily compare products and prices, enabling them to get best value for their organisation and for taxpayers.
Insight is a core part of our business and we're looking for an Insight / Big Data Analyst to join our growing team at an exciting time in our development.
The role:
We are looking for an individual to manage the delivery of regular insight reports and to drive the development of Peto's insight capability.
You will take responsibility for:
Managing the delivery of regular insight reports for external customers
Producing reports and management dashboards for internal customers
Developing ad hoc reports in response to customer requests
Gathering requirements for future developments and developing Peto's insight capability
Managing and manipulating large volumes of data from disparate systems
You will have the ability to:
Write complex SQL queries
Create and manage databases
Produce custom reports from Google Analytics
Create scripts for the batch production of reports
Mine "big data" to spot trends and discover patterns
Create eye-catching and effective charts from complex data
Communicate complex concepts in plain English and to a non-technical audience
Use advanced Excel features
Utilise business intelligence tools
Work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
This is a contract role paying: £250-£350 per day depending on experience.
