For a client in Rijswijk Harvey Nash is looking for an Infrastructure Management Engineer.
Assignment
The candidate must have at least 5 years working (architecture) experience in multi-disciplinary teams being exposed internationally.
The candidate needs excellent understanding of infra-structure hosting and IT components like Windows Server, Linux, Middleware services and integration (Active Directory), Security, HP Blades and Performance Analysis and Optimisation.
Proven project experience in Energy sector or Oil&Gas is a preferred. TOGAF certification or being exposed to a similar methodology is required.
The assignment includes review of the current Virtual Workstation cluster set-up and identification of any incompliant hardware components on our Virtual Workstation offering (HP Blades with Windows/Linux images); ie what we can turn off in our Windows stastandard image that isn't really functionally necessary and impacts performance. Further analysis needs to be done ie look at performance end to end for 4-5 key (Subsurface) applications, identify patterns and provide recommendations
