ESB Lead/Integration Architect Coventry, Contract at £37.80 per hour (40 hour week)

We are currently looking to recruit an ESB Lead/Integration Architect as part of our continued growth. The role will require a specialist in defining and leading integration architecture for Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) interfaces, leading and documenting technical specification, proactively supporting issue resolution and risk mitigation for major IT/Transformation Initiatives.

Responsibilities
Provide guidance to Integration Solution Architects, Business Analysts and Project Managers on the integration of Legacy systems to the new Architecture landscape using Enterprise standards, and on data migration technologies to aid the migration of identified data into the new system landscape. Defining Enterprise Solutions that enable the strategic direction for integration to be realised within the programme of work. Documenting standards and guidelines for Integration using IBM WebSphere based technologies. Working with Architects and Leads within the Centres of Excellence to ensure solutions comply with the strategic direction and policies of client. Providing guidance and Quality Assurance for the creation of Integration Functional Requirement Specifications to define the High Level Design for integration and migration projects. Providing a focal point for the Programme/Project Build Team and aiding successful handover of Functional Requirement Specifications. Sanctions technical requirements documentation and confirms way forward approaches. Assists with addressing and resolving technical issues, mitigating technical risks and escalating to the relevant forums. Leads design workshops and communicate with Project Managers and Business SMEs.

Mandatory Role Requirements.
Integration architecting of similar IT/Transformation initiatives. Understanding of existing enterprise assets as frameworks, patterns and sub-systems and ensure that the team uses them where appropriate. Experience/knowledge of ETL, ESB, TOGAF, Legacy Integration methodologies. Understanding of process and data mapping logic, interface and data migration related terminology. Understanding/knowledge of WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Message Broker, Web Service Implementation, SAP Data Services. Demonstrable creative ability to convey complex information in simple visual ways

Desired Experience.
Experience of architecting solution/IT solution/integration on large IT programmes. Excellent client facing experience. Understanding/experience in working with Integration processes and technology

Soft Skills.
Excellent technical communication skills and leadership - both written and verbal. Ability to present to large groups of technical and non-technical people, influence and lead requirement and solution design workshops. Ability to influence others and move toward a common solution. Energy and diligence to deliver to strict deadlines
