SAP BW Expert developer
Within the European team you will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of reporting solutions, with a focus upon the Back End/Front End components. Both Standard/Enhanced and Generic extractors (using efficient/complex ABAP coding as required) from SAP ECC and other data sources. Appropriate use of info-providers to best meet the business requirement. Efficient use of rules in order to handle logic and data volumes efficiently, providing the business with accurate information in a timely fashion. Solution designs which will deliver operational, analytical and key performance indicator reporting. As part of the BW analytics group, responsible for the maintenance, monitoring and performance optimization of the SAP BW environment. Ensure that systems are maintained and upgraded to provide a high level of reliability, availability, security and performance, liaising with other internal and external specialists as required; Provide high level (3rd/4th line) support to systems, liaising with external service providers as required; Maintain appropriate documentation and procedures relating to subject matter for reporting team and support staff; Assist in defining and developing technical standards, policies and procedures; adhere to these standards; Coach technical and support staff in area of expertise; Maintain up-to-date skills (including relevant certifications) in area of expertise. Minimum 5 years SAP BW experience, ideally more than 10 years. (Purchasing, Stock, Sales, Finance desirable) SAP R3/ECC experience is highly desirable; BW ABAP knowledge essential; Minimum 10 years' experience within IT. BW Experts only need apply. Madrid based with some travel, other locations will be considered.
