Contract Quality Engineer6 Month contract with likely extension
Based in Hampshire
£30-40 phr
I am currently seeking an experience Quality Engineer to work on a 6 month project for a leading tier 1 manufacturer into the automotive industry. There is a good chance this contract will be extended and it is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer with a background within the automotive industry who wishes to gain new experience and knowledge in their next contract. The role will include assisting the Quality team and supporting the development of APQP controls, verification checks and audits, FMEA's, and other Quality activities including generating a weekly Quality report.
In order to be considered for this new opportunity applicants must have:
- An wealth of knowledge within Quality Engineering and the Automotive Industry
- Experience within APQP and FMEA's
- Strong Auditing and Verification skills
- An aptitude for problem solving
- A proven track record within customer approval documentation, dealing with customer needs and in house Quality problem solving
- Be comfortable and proficient in writing up technical and accurate reports
- A Personable character, a good team worker
- Computer literacy
