Installation of mechanical systems, components and equipment on vessels.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate experience in fitting, stripping and re-assembling
Valves/Hull Valves and therefore the testing of.
Demonstrate experience in Argon purging of Pipe systems.
Experienced in Shaft alignment and rudder hydroplane installation
Competent in reading Engineering drawings and working to tolerance
Additional skills/experience which would be advantageous:
Experience in weapons installation in submarine build
Nuclear installation experience
Ship/Submarine repair.
Responsibilities
Time served Mechanical Fitter
C + G Level 3 or equivalent
NVQ L3 (Dependent on time served date)
