OSS Support Engineer - Back Office/3rd-4th Line Support

This thriving global telecommunications company has an excellent opportunity for an OSS Support Engineer to join their team for an immediate start.

As an OSS Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance for operations on OSS systems. You will be working within the Back Office support team providing 3rd and 4th line support for OSS issues and faults. You assist with high level analysis, diagnosis and problem solving on NSN Netact as well as other OSS tools and products. You will also need to ensure that accurate configuration documentation is maintained and an adequate disaster recovery procedure is produced. You will need to effectively escalate and liaise with Vendor support until fault escalation. On-call, out of hours support may also be required.

Key skills required:
* 3rd/4th Line technical support experience on OSS tools, products and platforms
* Experienced providing high level analysis, diagnosis and problem solving on NSN Netact, Greenplum, Velocent, Monolith or Netviewer
* Experienced with Linux and Unix administration, SQL and Oracle
* Experience with Scripting languages Perl, KornShell or Shell

There will be possible on call work required so your flexibility will be essential to this role. Immediate starts available.
