My client is currently looking for a SharePoint developer to join their team in Brussels
Overall Responsibilities
- As developer, maintain and develop existing and new functionalities using tools like Nintex and Infopath
- Ensure, as second line support, the functional maintenance and development of the existing SharePoint 2007 platform functionalities
Main Activities
- Participate as developer to development activities such as enhancement and project under responsibility of a senior functional analyst. Maintain technical documentation accordingly.
- As developer, use tools like Nintex, Infopath as well as SharePoint Designer to answer maintenance and development requirements. Note that development are less focused using Visual Studio.
- Ensure controlled change management, facilitate communication with end user community and coordinate testing effort
- Ensure that related SharePoint solutions are developped according to defined governance and architecture.
- Promote best practices and recommend improvement initiatives to increase application performance, the client template usage adherence and utilization efficiency.
- Support related user community and business stakeholders, maintaining knowledge level, providing advice and training, providing up to date FAQ...
- Ensure onboarding of implemented development and project within support activities through knowledge transfer and support technical documentation maintenance.
- Participate to the SharePoint 2013 project by supporting site migration, knowledge transfer and transition to a new service model
Other Activities
- As second line support, receive, classify, analyze and handle incident, user support and service request according to defined procedures and in respect to internal SLA. Escalate to level 3 support when relevant.

Education
- Degree, minimum Bachelor, within Business Administration/Engineering/Computer Science with minimum 5 years relevant professional experience. Long relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.custom SharePoint elements
Skills
- Minimum 2 Years experience in SharePoint platform, preferably in 2007 version.
- Experience in SharePoint administration and development is a plus. Certification is not needed.
- Additional expertise in SharePoint add-on products, particularly Nintex, Infopath, SharePoint Designer is required.
- Proven track record of IT operations and service delivery, with good troubleshooting.
- Highly service oriented. Similar experience in SharePoint support and training in an international environment is a must.
- Able to quickly learn existing rules and processes
- Proven track of Project management and team coaching
- Combined knowledge and interest mix between business and technology
- Strong analytical skills combined with good level of communication and training skills
- Structured, team player, proactive and highly committed
- English (fluent written and spoken). Other European languages are a plus
