Senior Java (J2EE) Developer - Dublin Contract - International Financial Services Company

My Client is expanding it current development team that are working on an International Workflow Product. The team you will be working within has the overall responsibility for the design, development and implementation of their client interface product.

The successful Candidate will be a Senior Software Engineer with strong technical expertise with most importantly experience within Web Services in their most recent role/s.

You will;

  • Contribute to technical analysis and design, including Technical Specification Documents.
  • Produce high quality code and unit test deliverables, and assist in integration and acceptance testing efforts.
  • Contribute to structured peer reviews and resolve identified issues.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, be motivated, is results oriented, is customer-focused, and has strong problem solving skills.
  • Follow the approved Software Development Methodology for process, architecture, design, code and testing.

Ideal background;

  • 5+ years' experience in Software Development.
  • 5+ years' experience with Java (J2EE) and related technologies (XML, JavaScript, WSAD, Eclipse, Ant, Clearcase, Maven, Subversion or other Configuration Management system).
  • Previous experience in Webservices is essential.
  • Experience in MULE or another ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) highly desirable.
  • Experience in Flex, Flash or AJAX desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have worked within a fast paced Agile environment.
