Description
An investment bank in Chicago is currently seeking a Team Leader to manage a skilled development group. The position will require significant knowledge of the brokerage and asset managment industry. This hands-off role will be responsible for greenfield development within a C# and .Net environment. This is a full-time position located in Downtown Chicago.The Team leader will be responsible for the management of 6 developers and interfaceing with different groups of Business Analyst and Project Managers. This is a hand-off management position, but the development team works within a C#.Net environment, so previous experience within that area is preferred.
Other responsibilities include:
- Develop, train and lead a team of skilled application developers
- Collaborate with other teams to set development timelines and priorities
- Ensure quality integrity of application deliverables
- Lead the development team during a new middleware banking application project
Qualifications for this role include:
- Strong written and communication skills
- 1-2 years of management experience
- 5-7 years of technical experience
- Previous Brokerage experience
- Previous technical experience with C#.Net
- Previous technical experience with Javascript, SQL Server, Visual Studio and Oracle
