I am looking for an experienced IT Release Manager to work for a top tier investment bank based inLondon. The role is to work within a challenging, stimulating environment and would be idea for someone who is seeking to enhance their career.The main job function of this role is the release and environment management of regulatory software onto test and production platforms.
Liaise with Project Managers/Technical Leads to capture Environment & Release requirements
Creation, review, sign-off and execution of Release runbooks for deployments
Continuous improvement on Release Management processes.
Liaise with Development/Testing teams and execute Release schedules & batch runs.
Support Systems Integration Testing, Regression Testing and User Acceptance Testing
Support go-live implementation
Provide third level support once application is live
Management of software versions, build and release in several environments
Key Requirements-
Sound expertise on batch scheduling tools like Autosys, Control M
Experience with UNIX, Windows & Linux operating systems
Experience using Build Release tools (WIX, InstallShield, TeamCity Build servers)
Expert admin skills with source management tools such as Perforce
Change management processes and procedures
Execution of release implementation/
Excellent communication skills for a continuous interaction with the different stakeholders
