Due to company growth and the senior engineer's retirement at the end of the year, we are now urgently seeking to recruit an Electro - Mechanical Design Engineer to join the head office inYorkshire, ideally from a flexible, batch manufacturing background. Candidates with knowledge of Transformers / Switchgears would have a distinct advantage.
Possessing a strong 2D Design skill set, 3D CAD experience would be advantageous (preferably on ProEngineer), you will be tasked with designing 11kV Distribution Transformers for the Distribution Network Operators and Industry
HNC/HND qualified, you should also be able to design both from customer specification and also from concept and ideally have some knowledge of Transformers.
