I'm looking to recruit for a Vice President of Sales based in London and covering Europe, for a US start up growing into the UK and Europe.

My clients are at the fore front of the video conferencing and collaboration market and provide multi-point video conferencing that connects with all systems and mobile platforms.

With offices both in the US and UK, their technology offers high quality video communications to the mainstream market. This position is new and is a key part of my client's growth internationally, you will be charged with growing the sales within the UK and Europe and recruiting a regional sales team.

Essential skills:-

You should have between 15-20 years experience in sales and sales management
You should have sold solutions in video conferencing or similar.
You should have experience in a start up environment and in recruiting new sales executives both internal and external.
You should have experience working autonomously and the drive to achieve your goals independently.
Experience selling into the FTSE 250

You will develop a business plan with the CEO and executive team including go to market strategies tailored to the European market. You will be responsible for everything from the sales process right through to mentoring and managing a new sales team which you will have recruited.

Some direct sales will be involved but your role will grow more and more "hands off" as the European team grows and expands over the years.
