You will be responsible for:
.Security log monitoring using a SIEM platform;
.Identifying events of interests;
.Advanced analysis of events to detect security incidents and security weakness;
.Creation of Incident tickets and follow-up with relevant stakeholders;
.Health monitoring of SIEM infrastructure;
.Creation and updating of standard operating procedure, as required;
.Report Generation and other documentation as required by the Monitoring Center;
You are expected to have:
.4 years College Degree or equivalent;
.5+ years IT Security domain experience;
.Exposure to ArcSight architecture and monitoring tasks/action using ArcSight as a SIEM
platform;
.Strong understanding of Networking fundamentals and operating systems(Windows &
Unix/Linux);
.Strong understanding of vulnerabilities, attack techniques and attack vectors
.CEH Certification;
.CISSP/SANS GIAC certification is preferred.
.CCNA Certification, MCSE or Solaris/HP Unix or Linux Administration(preferred but not
mandatory);
.ITIL Foundation Certification(preferred but not mandatory);
.Good verbal and written communication (English);
.Prior experience of working in process oriented organisation;
.You are highly disciplined and motivated, able to work independently, under direction, or
as a member of a team;
.Willingness to work in shifts for a 24/7 operation.
