Position Description: 
The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) for the Infrastructure Remediation and Transformation (IRT) program serves as a single point of contact to the client IRT program manager and the various IBM (supplier) project managers regarding monitoring and automation projects. This role will mainly consist of technical consulting and research within the monitoring and automation technologies with some project management and coordination of Proof of Concepts and Pilots. 

Focus: 
Provide technical consulting in the monitoring and automation technologies as required by the IRT program. 

Day to day operational services: 
Review of and implementation of monitoring standards 
Review and vetting of proposed monitoring solutions 
Developing technical requirements for solution proposals 
Coordinating deployments of monitoring solutions with business partners 

Experience Level: 
5+ years experience with infrastructure management and systems administration. 
5+yrs of managing Service Delivery and Operations from external vendors/suppliers in a Data Center/Outsourced environment 

Required Skill Set: 
Strong working knowledge/experience with IBM Tivoli Monitoring, the entire suite of ITCAMS products, Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP) and Tivoli Data Warehouse (TDW) 
Familiar with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), FogLight, BMC ProactiveNet and NetCool (OMNIbus/Impact) 
Knowledge and experience working with the following platforms: UNIX (AIX & Solaris), Linux, Windows and IBM Mainframes 
Knowledge and experience of working with and instrumenting monitoring against them: 
a) Databases: Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase, DB2 (Mainframe and distributed) 
b) Middleware: WebSphere, JBOSS, TomCat, IHS, Message Broker 
c) Mainframe: CICS, MQSeries 
Proven ability to establish and maintain long term relationship with external suppliers 
Flexible hours required for all positions. Maintenance and installation work usually performed outside of regular working hours. Must be willing to carry a pager 24 hours per day when on call 
Project/Program Management Experience 
Experience with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Project) 
Scripting and programming experience is a plus
