The client is one of the UK`s leading renewable energy developers and operators, with an extensive offshore wind farm project pipeline. They are currently looking for a Construction Operations Coordinator to join their growing team onsite at the Construction Port in the North West UK.

This individual (also called Construction Site Manager/ Onshore Site Manager) will provide support to the Construction Managers and have the day to day responsibility for the site management of all major and ancillary components for the Construction Works. The Construction Works includes, all components related to the installation of foundations, turbines, 132/33kV Substation and Inter-turbine Cables, including harbour management and collection of components from the manufacturing facilities.


Responsibilities:

- Managing the onshore / offshore supply chain of components to facilitate installation of foundations, turbines, 132/33kV Substation and Inter-turbine Cables. This will involve contact / correspondence with external fabricators, vendors and the client`s procurement team.

- Supporting the Client Offshore Representatives / Lift Supervisors and Contractor Site Supervisors in the execution of their roles with component location / delivery status reports and when necessary hands on help.

- Maintaining the site stores of rigging equipment, temporary generators, fuel bunkering, waste management and miscellaneous plant items including statutory records for testing / inspections.

- Providing the Construction Managers with project management reports, for inclusion in the monthly Project report.

- Promptly identify and notify the Construction Managers on any issue relating to the logistics management and supply chains during the course of the works and providing assistance in resolving any issues.


Required knowledge:

- Experience in a similar position and industry
- Construction knowledge in the offshore and wind power area or harbour and coastal waters construction
- Health and safety (HSE/EHS) at work
- Work preparation
- Work sequence planning
- Quality management
- Environmental management
- Strong Computer skills: MS office applications (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Able to work effectively within a team
