We are looking for a talented, passionate, and driven frontend designer/developer to rework our public website (www.compassquality.com). Three weeks of full-time work starting ASAP - week of .

About the project: Transition the Compass website from a beta-software teaser website, to a full-blown enterprise software marketing engine. The website will keep the same look and feel, but will need to incorporate a large amount of new content (product descriptions, pricing info, marketing copy, etc). Website is, and will remain, primarily static content with small amounts of javascript.

We will provide all the copy. Contractor will need to:
1. Create a design to incorporate the new content into the website
2. Find or generate graphical content as needed
3. Implement a responsive, mobile-friendly website using responsive design techniques

Requirements:

  • Very strong HTML5 & CSS3 implementation skills
  • Experience with front-end and CSS-preprocessing frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation, & Sass/Compass
  • Solid design sensibility
  • Familiarity with Javascript
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub
  • Attention to cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility
  • Ability to work with a team of developers
  • Ability to follow direction and communicate in a constructive, effective manner
Local to San Francisco is a plus, but is not mandatory.
