My client, a global medical device company in Deland, Florida has a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer. The Project Engineer will be involved in troubleshooting electro/mechanical automated systems. This is a 12 month contract opportunity that is paying $35.00 - $40.00 per hr.

This market leading medical device company is searching for a Project Engineer to effectively guide cross functional global teams. The Project Engineer will be involved in the following:

- Present project feasibility and execution status, track financial spending, and prepare management summary reports on project status and activities

- Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems using computer- and logic-based methods

- Effectively guides cross-functional, global teams using project management tools such as keeping and monitoring up-to-date Microsoft Project Gantt charts, tracking financials of project, holding successful meetings and distributing timely minutes to drive the timeline of critical transfer projects.

- Assists in the development strategic operations project plans with thorough financial impact analysis; able to execute plan to schedule and budget.

- Assist in leading transfer projects to other facilities or acquisitions following approved SOPs and utilizing project management tools.

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

- Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, M.S. Preferred

- 7 + years of experience with troubleshooting electro/mechanical automated systems and managing projects

- Experience in a regulated environment a plus
